The Precision 75 Woodturning Chuck is meticulously designed to position the workpiece close to the headstock, effectively reducing load and minimizing wear on the main spindle bearing. Its precision-engineered scroll mechanism and high-ratio gearing ensure a robust grip, regardless of the workpiece size.

This chuck is engineered from a specialized medium-tensile steel, commonly utilized in high-performance components like turbo impellors, pistons, and gears. This material selection enables precise manufacturing tolerances, ensuring outstanding concentricity. The result is a reduction in vibration and the capability for woodturners to achieve a chatter-free, exceptionally fine finish.

Our chuck features a unique design where the jaws precisely cut into the wood, ensuring a superior clamping force. This design contrasts with other woodturning chucks that employ engineering jaw profiles, which tend to crush wood fibers and result in less secure workpiece gripping.

Our precision machined scroll mechanism and high ratio gearing deliver a robust grip for any workpiece size. The four-jaw design operates with a T-handled key, enabling single-handed use and freeing the other hand to balance the workpiece during mounting and dismounting.

This 4-jaw chuck has a self-centering function, which requires no calibration during installation, saving time and improving work efficiency.

The chuck kit includes the Precision 75 chuck body, 50mm dovetail jaws, 65mm faceplate ring, 35mm pin jaws, and a screw chuck, accommodating a variety of turning projects. Suitable for spindles, bowls, goblets, candlesticks, pepper mills, and writing instruments, it supports items up to 20kg.
